ABOUT

Hannah’s physiotherapy journey began when she was 18 years old following a horrible sporting accident whilst she was attending a fitness class at her local gym. This resulted in multiple orthopaedic procedures and 2 years going from walking to wheel chair to walking again.

In total Hannah underwent 5 different surgical procedures on both knees and hip. Prior to this she was competing both nationally and internationally in karate.

Hannah completed a bachelors degree in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention at Middlesex University, achieving a first class honours in this subject. She then went on to work as a sports and exercise therapist in private practice and also for and number of sports teams including Queens Park Rangers FC academy team, and Saracens Rugby Club. During this time she also worked as a personal trainer and sports therapist in a prestigious residents only Spa facility.

Hannah went on to complete a degree in Physiotherapy at Coventry University, again achieving a first class honours. She quickly developed a specialist interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and began to develop her experience working in both private practice and the NHS.

She is very proud to work full time at the prestigious Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust in Birmingham - a centre of excellence for musculoskeletal conditions with a world wide reputation. Here she works in both Musculoskeletal outpatients and inpatients and has developed her knowledge and understanding of specialist Musculoskeletal conditions including Orthopaedic Oncology and rehabilitation.

Hannah believes in a patient centred approach to all physiotherapy and sports therapy treatment, with a very large emphasis on patient based education and rehabilitation. She is trained in massage therapy, acupuncture therapy and electrotherapy and combines these treatment methods along the exercise rehabilitation techniques in order to achieve the best outcomes with her client base.

Hannah has a specialist interest in research and is currently in the process of developing her physiotherapy research portfolio.

Her knowledge and experience in physiotherapy both as a clinician and as a patient drives her to deliver the very best evidence based treatment.
